Dialup Access
We realize that broadband is not available everywhere, yet. So, we have created the Dialup Cooperative to work together for better prices for everyone. As the number of Dialup Access accounts increases, the lower the price.Access is available from over 17,000 Access Points in over 7,000 cities and towns across the USA and Canada.
HyperSpeed Acceleration
We are pleased to provide the newest generation of Internet acceleration, the HyperSpeed Accelerator, provided by Slipstream. HyperSpeed accelerates the Internet by using a patented server-side compression and cache technology to reduce the size of pages before they are sent to your computer. This yields an acceleration of up to 6 times the normal speed of 56K modem.Now, the HyperSpeed Accelerator is available to anyone, even if you don't have a dialup account. It works great with nearly every Internet connection.
The cost is just $2.00 per month with a dialup account, and only $3.00 per month stand-alone.
Our Networks and Realms
We offer Dialup Access on several Networks. Each network has its own characteristics, access points, and phone numbers, and is identified by its Realm. You can access the Internet by calling any number from any location in the list for your selected realm.Please Note: Although Realms look like email addresses, they are not. They are used as part of the Dialup Username, and are used by the Dialup Server to authenticate your login. There is no email associated with the realm.
Primary Network
Our Primary Network consists of a conglomeration of the following dialup networks working together to provide a wide, cost effective network: Level 3, WorldNet, ELI, O1 Communications, WispNet, Grande, CP Wholesale, and CoreTel.

Our Filtered Access Network provides a Family Friendly Proxy Server that filters out websites that contain things like Porn, Weapons, and other material that is not "G Rated". It cannot be bypassed, making it safe and secure. It only runs on the Megapop network.

Service
To ensure dialup availability for all users, there is a 5 hour maximum session time, and a 10 minute idle timeout. This is not an "always connected", service or a "dedicated" service, unless you on on one of the dedicated networks.We provide a great, no-frills, Dialup Service for a Great Price! We do not provide unlimited support fixing your modem or holding your hand. The service is for dialup access only. Support beyond providing the basic connection parameters is available for $50.00 per hour.
In an effort to reduce spam, the SMTP port (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, port 25) has been blocked. In order to send mail on the SMTP port while connected through our dialup service, you should use our Sendmail Server: sendmail.dialupcoop.com. We have placed the following restrictions on our Sendmail Server:
- You cannot send a message to more than 25 recipients at a time.
- You cannot send more than 200 messages per hour.
- You cannot send a message over 10 MB in size.
- Certain attachment types are blocked to prevent transmitting viruses.
- Messages are scanned and dropped if it contains a virus.
